A high quality audio mixer The Erica Synths Black Mute Mixer is a high quality audio mixer from Erica Synth's Black Series modular Eurorack synthesizers with three inputs and, as a special feature, mute switches on each input signal and three buffered outputs. The mute buttons allow audio signals to be added immediately and at exactly the right level. The three outputs can simultaneously send audio signals to various other modules, such as VCFs. This allows you to create an infinite number of sounds.

The VC EG Expander taken to the next level Erica Black VC EG Expander takes the VC EG to the next level – it outputs gates or CVs for each active stage of the envelope, so you can design really advanced patches. Also, inverted and bipolar envelope outputs are available.

A basic analogue oscillator   With the Pico VCO2, Erica Synths extends its slim range with a basic analogue oscillator with rectangular and triangular output. The oscillator offers stable tracking over eight octaves, an octave switch for coarse tuning, and a CV input for pulse-width modulation.

The Stereo Mixer is suitable for the increasingly popular stereo inputs and outputs. Examples: Black Hole DSP , Erica Fusion Delay and Mutable Instruments Clouds. The compact module saves space in the rack and convinces with good audio values.

A high quality dual envelope generator and low frequency oscillator The Erica Synths Black Dual EG/LFO is a dual envelope generator and low frequency oscillator. Both EGs can be used successively or simultaneously as AD/ASR envelope generators. The shape of the LFO envelopes can be adjusted directly. Thanks to its compact design, it saves a lot of space in the modular system. As part of the Black series, the module is designed for the Eurorack modular system.

A MIDI interface for Modular Synthesizer The Erica Synth Black MIDI-CV v2 is a two-part MIDI interface for Erica Synth's modular Eurorack synthesizers that emulates the behavior of monophonic or duophonic synthesizers. It can also be configured for use on two different MIDI channels. It has a MIDI clock output and an analog glide effect on both channels.

A voltage-controlled filter emulating the authentic and famous Polivok sound   The Erica Synths Black Polivoks VCF is a voltage-controlled filter emulating the authentic and famous Polivok sound enhanced with cutoff control. Some updates have been made to meet the requirements of a modern modular synthesizer. The module features independent buffer inputs, cutoff controls and more clicks when changing filter modes. Like the other modules in the Black series, this module is designed for the Eurorack format.

A classic design ring modulator with germanium diode ring plus a vacuum tube to boost and shape audio and carrier signals. Germanium diodes will enrich your sound by adding extra harmonic content meanwhile vacuum tube adds evilish overdrive to audio and carrier signals. The beating heart of your modular system.   The Black VC Clock is the heart of your modular system. The module generates several clock signals simultaneously and has advanced functions (such as tap tempo, shuffle, divide) for both the production of controlled rhythmic music and for your sound experiments. A unique Eurorack modular Mixer.   The Erica Synths Fusion Mixer V3 is a unique Eurorack modular mixer. Equipped with a vacuum tube for a warm, rich sound, the Fusion Mixer V3 features two independent 3-input mixers, which can also be used as a simple 6-input mixer. With the tube in the module circuitry, the Fusion Mixer V3 can provide exceptional tube overdrive effects with high level settings.

A versatile modular synth LFO 
 Erica Synths Black Octasource is an LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator) for Eurorack modular synthesizers. OCTASOURCE offers eight different waveforms, all of which can be picked up simultaneously via the eight outputs, or one waveform with a 45° offset per patch point can be picked up.
 The Black Octasource offers a choice of two modes: In Multi mode, all eight different waveforms can be captured simultaneously via the eight outputs. In the Single mode, one waveform can be shaken on all eight patch points with an offset of 45° each. It is also possible to select both modes simultaneously: Waveform switching can be CV-controlled, allowing continuous switching between the different modes. In addition, the phase shift and the LFO speed can be controlled by CV.

A Distortion Module developed with Gamechanger Audio   The Erica Synths Plasma Drive is a distortion module that uses high voltage conversion to process the signal. The module was developed in collaboration with Gamechanger Audio and converts the audio signal to 3000 Volt using, among other things, a xenon-filled tube. These high-voltage DC discharges in combination with the two tracking oscillators (+1 oct up / -2 oct down) are what ultimately remains a highly distorted audio signal. The results can be described as extreme and fanciful. The voltage strength and the mixing ratio can be influenced by CV, the oscillators can be switched on manually or by Gate. An equalizer adjusts the sound with bass and treble accordingly. The sound and functionality of this distortion is so far unique on the market!  

A complex, all analogue modulation source with lots of distinct features   Fusion Modulator is complex, all analogue modulation source with lots of distinct features. It consists of several blocks – two EMS Synthi functionality inspired looping envelope generators with simultaneous unipolar (0V - 10V) and bipolar (-5V - +5V), VCA, Noise generator and Sample & Hold. This makes Fusion Modulator a versatile modulation source for advanced modular setups, especially drone music oriented ones. Set lopping envelope generators to high frequencies and have two sub bass sound sources, use VCA to control the amplitude of the envelope signal, modulate the decay time by random voltages from S&H circuit and get ever evolving sonic awesomeness!

A new multifunctional analog effects module   Erica Synths Fusion Delay/Flanger/Vintage Ensemble module is a distinct multifunctional analog effects module combining BBD chip based effects with an adjustable tube overdrive in the delay output and feedback path for extra thickness of sound.For more flexibility, lowpass filtering is fully adjustable from none to extreme. Special feature, not found in eurorack, is Vintage Stereo Ensemble – effect that’s common on vintage synthesizers to create moving and thick spatial sound from a monaural tone generator, be it FM, DCO or any other kind. Such a spatial effect is achieved by mixing dry source with delayed and lowpass filtered out of phase signal.

A dual multimode filter with complex sounds   The Erica Synths Black VCF is a dual multimode filter offering CV control over filter cutoff and resonance. The module can be used as two independent VCFs with simultaneous highpass, lowpass and bandpass outputs. Send 2 different sound sources to each filter to create a more interesting and complex range of sounds and modulations. The filter of the module self-oscillates, generating a clean and pleasant sound that can be used as a sound source. The CV knobs in the middle can be used for cutoff modulation. The Black VCF module also features a 16-band spectrum analyzer that provides visual feedback of the summation output.

Erica Synths Fusionbox is a distinct multifunctional analogue effects unit that combines BBD chip based effects – delay, flanger, chorus – with tube overdrive in the delay output and feedback path for extra thickness of sound.Fusion Box lowpass filtering is fully adjustable from none to extreme for a really deep bass sound. A special feature, not found in other contemporary stompboxes or effect units, is the Vintage Stereo Ensemble.The Vintage Stereo Ensemble provides the classic “stereo ensemble” effect, found on many vintage synthesizers from almost any brand and make. In stereo ensemble effect, the delayed, processed and filtered sound is added back to the dry (mono) audio with inverted phase for one channel, and direct phase in the other. This gives it the distinct and unique moving character, different from that obtained with chorus effects. However, use of inverted phase in stereo field also adds certain peculiarities to watch out for. For example, when such stereo audio is played back on an older “surround” decoding sound system, ensemble effect sound may move to the rear sound channel. Also, if the output gets mixed back to mono, the effect may disappear. This also applies to mono subwoofer systems, or speakers that are placed too close. This is normal, and occurs with any similar vintage stereo ensemble processing. In this case and if such oddities are undesirable, to avoid mono mixing issues, you can choose to use only one of the output channels, or use two separate ensemble processors for left and right channels.Fusionbox has adjustable input gain, therefore it works with various sound sources – guitars, units with line level signals (synthesizers, grooveboxes, etc.) and modular synths. Footswitch allows to switch on or bypass effects making Fusionbox ideal for guitar players.

An Analogue Module for bass and ultimate leads This Bassline from Erica Synths' Drum series is a monophonic synth voice module in Eurorack format with a very charismatic sound. The voice is fully analog and is based on a three-waveform oscillator and a transistor sub-oscillator. Two additional BBD lines (delay line circuits) in the oscillator range enrich the basic sound with emulated VCO tuning and sounds one would expect from a polysynthesis. For spectrum processing there is a switchable low-pass/bandpass filter, which is oriented towards the sound of the Polivoks and is likewise included in the Erica Synths Acidbox.
