Blue Sky Reverb

Strymon

Blue Sky Reverb

The blueSky from Strymon is a new kind of reverb... The ultimate kind! Ultra complete, it has become in a few months one of the references of the genre. The blueSky allows you to choose between 3 types of reverb. There is a Plate, a Room and a Spring. Each of these reverbs can benefit from one of the 3 available modes. Namely, the normal mode with which the effect is standard and unmodified, the modulation mode which allows you to add a slight chorus effect to gain depth and spacialization. And finally the shimmer mode which is a "regenerative" pitch shifter / octaveur. This last mode will take you straight to the soaring sounds like U2, Pink Floyd etc... The pedal has a depth control, a 100% analog mix allowing a balance between the dry and wet sound, from 100% dry to 100% wet. A pre-delay setting to delay the triggering of the effect is also present and we can sculpt in an extremely precise way the response and color of the reverb through the low and high damp pots that act as buttons Tone in the low and high spectrum. The blueSky is able to excel in all styles, from vintage plate, through spring reverb that makes a nice "douing" with each attack, to huge slices and ambiences, with a colossal spacialization and diffusion! No matter how you use it, the blueSky remains perfectly defined, natural and totally transparent. It acts like a layer on your original sound without ever distorting it. Whether you're a guitarist, keyboardist, or any other type of player, the blueSky is highly addictive and is sure to develop your creative side! Finally, the Favorite function (widely used throughout the range) allows you to save an additional preset, so you can access two totally different sounds immediately. The equivalent of two pedals in one! The blueSky has stereo inputs and outputs, a true bypass mode and a trail mode. It's entirely made in the USA and built around a brushed aluminum chassis, like all blueSky models. With the blueSky you will definitely have your head in the clouds! 9V power supply includedSpecifications: - Hand crafted, computationally intense spring, plate and room algorithms- Normal, Mod and Shimmer modes for each algorithm- Super low noise, high performance 24-bit 96kHz A/D and D/A converters w/ 115dB typical signal to noise- Analog dry path for a zero latency dry signal that is never converted to digital- High performance DSP stuffed into a compact form factor- Favorite footswitch to save a favorite sound- Dedicated pre-delay control- High and Low damping controls for uber-flexible reverb tone shaping- Mod mode for a beautifully modulated spring room or plate reverb- Shimmer mode for infinite pitch effects "in the tank"- TRUE BYPASS (electromechanical relay switching)- Selectable "trails" mode with high quality analog buffered bypass- +/- 3dB adjustable boost or cut when the effect is engaged- Stereo input and output- Powered with a standard 9V center negative DC supply. 6505 Piranha Micro Head

Peavey

6505 Piranha Micro Head

Powerful and portable, the 6505 Piranha harnesses the unmistakable character of the iconic 6505 Series in a convenient, miniscule package capable of a mighty 20 Watts (4 Ohms). No frills - just the raw gain and authority of the familiar Crunch and Lead channels with simple Pre-Gain and Post-Gain controls. A single knob EQ morphs the tone from the most notchy thrash to throaty and boosted metal tones. A buffered Effects loop is included for ease of connecting effects, re-amping, or for use as a stand-alone preamp. Connect any source to the full range power amplifier section through the Auxiliary Input. A single 12AX7 tube is the final component in the wrath of gain provided by this little beast. The design of this low voltage tube section was paramount in getting the soul of the 6505 into such a small and lightweight package. For even more fun, try different 12AX7's in your Piranha - the effect of swapping this single tube is similar to swapping all of the preamp tubes in the 6505 Head: custom tone and as many options as there are tubes. Small enough to use in a bedroom, but powerful enough for the studio, this little guy sounds amazing with the ultra-portable 6505 Micro 1x8 cabinet. Pair with larger cabinets featuring premium drivers such as the Peavey 112-6, 212-6 and the legendary 6505 412 cabs for increasingly unbelievable sound. The minimalist controls and robust construction make this a must-have, "Swiss army knife" tool for live and recording use. Use the headphone jack and aux input for practice, connect the effects send to the input of a larger amp to use it as a "6505 preamp driver," great for quick and easy "re-amping", and any number of applications that you can dream up. The Peavey 6505 series has been forging the sound of metal aggression for over two decades. Since 1992, it has defined the sounds of extreme rock guitar into a package equally suited to clubs, rehearsal rooms, and studios. Some of the biggest names in metal trust their tones to the 6505 Series.
