Vic Firth - 7AN American Classic Hickory
The 7A, a thin and light rod. The 7A models are absolutely perfect if you are looking for a light, thin and exquisitely expressive cue. This model is very popular in the world of jazz, but also in funk and pop. All manufacturers, and of course Vic Firth, offer similar characteristics: a handle that fits well in the hand, a balanced weight, a profile cut for all types of electric or acoustic music and a tear-shaped olive that is suitable for all types of cymbals and skins. Undeniable quality. With the 7A range, we are dealing with a hyper accomplished production. Is it useful to specify that at Vic Firth, the quality of the wood is never lacking, that the sticks are perfectly straight, and above all, that they are matched with non-negotiable criteria of requirement and precision? A musician above all. Prior to directing the brand that still bears his name today, the late Vic Firth was first and foremost an accomplished percussionist who practiced his art under the guidance of the greatest conductors in the Boston Symphony Orchestra. His first pair of sticks was designed to meet the needs of a piece of music for which he wanted a special sound and feel. Assisted by the world's greatest drummers, the brand's designers have maintained this requirement in order to market - among others - the American Classic series, which includes the basis of models designed to adapt to each hand and, above all, to each musical context.

Vic Firth - Heritage Brushes
Another pair of sleeves. All the drummers who've played with them will tell you: playing broomsticks is a different story! And it's precisely in the history of drumming that we find the genesis of these strands of steel that were born to help drummers play softer in certain contexts. It is of course jazz that gave the brooms their letters of nobility and mastering them not only brings another sound colour, but also makes it possible to use the sticks even more easily. Designed for tradition. The brooms do not bounce off the skin or the metal of the cymbals. In order to satisfy a wide variety of uses, many models exist today. The thickness of the handle can vary, as can the material (wood, hard plastic, rubber...), but it is mainly the quality and the number of strands that will determine the sound produced. The Vic Firth HB brushes are both traditional in terms of fineness and number of strands, and quite modern, as the handle offers a very ergonomic grip. The metal is soft enough to perform all the tricks without too much force and the rubbing is easy to achieve without pressing too much on the skin. Retractable and durable. The Vic Firth HB are of course retractable with two possible positions, depending on the desired length. Once they have been adjusted, connoisseurs can choose to store them directly in the tube provided, without ever having to tuck them into the handle again. This will increase their lifespan, even though this model is not fragile in any way. The small ring can be used to mark glissandos on the surface of your cymbals or small figures on their bells, if necessary... In any case, it will be quite an art, all in delicacy.

The Spacedrum can be played by hand or with suited sticks. The technique of playing with sticks is radically different and sensations too. Moreover, the resonance induced by the contact pads and latex attack notes bring a new dimension to the instrument varies depending on the type of buffer used. We have therefore designed several sticks to enable you to understand various playing techniques and types of stamps. The model "dual" functions include a playing technique using 4 tips. During their manufacture the sticks are equipped with soft pads. Buffers toughest independent and inter-changeable are included with each pair of sticks. Note: Be careful, the metal being sensitive to shocks we strongly recommend that you use chopsticks suitable for Spacedrum and play softly.

Vic Firth - 5B American Classic Hickory
A programmed evolution. The 5B has not always been the standard in the hands of drummers, and it can even be said that the length and thickness of the sticks has evolved a lot since the jazz era and the beginnings of rock n' roll. There are two reasons for this. The first one is that the cymbals were thinner, and that the drummers were looking for the bounce, with a rather short length and a very tapered neck. The second is that the amplification was not yet at its peak, and the music didn't need a very high sound level for the drums. Today, the Vic Firth 5B are adopted by a large majority of musicians. A fleshy body to be desired. The relationship to the instrument having thus radically changed, the drummer demands less use of rebound, and therefore of his fingers. It is quite naturally that a manufacturer like Vic Firth, always attentive to the demands of instrumentalists, developed from the 1970s onwards models generating more power, with a shorter neck and a neck that fits well in a closed hand. The result is a hickory stick with a forward weight and a tear-shaped olive. Enough to hit a thousand times without ever having to force it. An unfailing quality. If all the quality parameters were not met, all this would be in vain. And yet, in this matter, it's a little Vic Firth who sets the tone. Whether it is the origin of the wood, the perfect size of the sticks, the varnish (neither too thin nor too thick) or the pairing, everything is done to deliver the best to the user. In terms of solidity, the blows can be delivered without fear, especially with a supple and ample gesture. Even for a hard game, these 5Bs will last a very long time!
