Headway acoustic guitars are made by Deviser in its factory in Matsumoto, Japan. This guitar features an advanced rear bracing on which the X-bracing crosses at about 46 mm from the mouth, closer to the bridge. Deviser took a vintage wartime acoustic guitar built in wartime as an example to develop this pattern and added adjustments to it to create their own unique sound. The lower part of the soundboard is tighter, resulting in a more concentrated sound with more sparkle and a more durable reinforcement of the soundboard. After a few pilot samples, Deviser has finally achieved an ideal, well-balanced sound with tight bass and a brilliant shimmer, and superb articulation.
