The SE Santana Singlecut Trem guitar pays tribute to the unique GOLD guitar of Santana Private Stock PRS. Inspired by Carlos Santana's stage guitar model, construction of this version began when Santana heard Paul's Guitar TCI microphones in 2018. Impressed by their sound, Santana asked for a set of these modified microphones, and from there, the TCI "S" microphones were born. Eager to capture their full range sound in a special model, Santana and Paul turned to Santana's personal instruments and chose the Singlecut Gold.

The SE Paul's Guitar offers a lot of "PRS", starting with sound and versatility. The TCI "S" microphones for treble and bass offer a very pure and vintage sound. The SE Paul's Guitar also features two mini-toggle switches between the volume and tone buttons. This configuration allows players to put either or both microphones in single coil mode, which provides the clarity and uniqueness of vintage single coil sounds in the single coil and humbucking positions. It is the first PRS model to offer this style of electronics outside the Private Stock and Core lines.
